capacitive pen on paperlike matte screen protector

Does capacitive pen with copper nib will leave scratch marks on a decent paperlike matte screen protector?

I would not use an exposed metal nib stylus on any tablet.

While any screen protector is designed to take all the abuse instead of the actual tablet screen, I am afraid that any stylus with an exposed metal nib will really scratch up ANY type of screen protector material and especially with thin, plastic film screen protector, may actually rip into the thin film screen protector and scratch the actual glass screen of the tablet.

What year and iPad model do you own?

There maybe a better stylus solution available than the one you posted.
