how can I print or save a text message to my IPhone

If you are referring to saving/printing a portion(s) of a text message thread, then my recommendation is that you take a screen shot of the message(s) and then print or save (Photos album) them accordingly.

I have the same challenge. I need an entire text string to be printed or savable to a PC file that can then later be printed. Printing/saving a screen shot does not work since there are a lot of texts and many require 2 screens to capture the text session for that specific correspondence.

Any ideas on how to save text sessions to a file?

That will print part of message thread and not entire text. Why apple dose not permit printing all?
