How do I turn off ReportCrash on my MacBook Pro?

How do I turn off ReportCrash on my MacBook Pro? It is on all the time using between 15% and 35% of CPU memory.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.13

There may be a crash it is reporting in the background.


The easiest way is to isolate the reason for the crash.


If your hard disk is over 85% full, that's the most obvious reason why.


Others may be able to be isolated using Etrecheck with the help of the Apple Support Community.
