Can I use Chinese typing with english(UK or Ireland) keyboard for MacBook?

Hey guys! Thanks for the help in advance. I want to buy a Macbook air with an English(Ireland, don't know if there is an Irish one or just goes to a British one) keyboard (anyway the version in Ireland), but I also need to type Chinese pinyin. Could somebody check if your MacBook with a British keyboard has an option for typing Chinese (pinyin) language? Thanks a million!!

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

The hardware keyboard doesn't matter for typing Chinese, that is determined by your input source settings. Every Mac, regardless of its keyboard, can do it.

If you want to type pinyin itself, using Latin characters, you use the input source called ABC Extended.

If you want to type Chinese characters via pinyin, you use the input source Pinyin Simplified or Pinyin Traditional.
