I just want to pay with pay pal
Why can’t I simply pay with pay pal? Or my debit card? Like I use on my tablet? Why does it have to be Apple Pay?

A. Verify PayPal:
First off, see if PayPal is an option in your location/area: Payment Methods that you can Use with your Apple ID - Apple Support
and...
B. Use a Computer:
Secondly, troubleshoot this using a computer, as it would be more user-friendly doing so.
