If the Ring application is well behaved, you should be able to go to Settings | Notifications | Ring and change the setting to send Alerts to the Lock Screen.

The Ring application for Android and the Ring application for iOS are two completely different computer programs written to perform the same tasks under two completely different operating systems. They are designed to present themselves as similarly as possible on the two different screens.

(The headlight switch on your Chevrolet looks and feels exactly like the one on your Humvee, though they too were created by two different teams to perform the same tasks in two different environments.)

Have you confirmed that you have set Notifications on your iPhone to allow notifications to be presented on your Lock screen, as I specified last week?
