Sometimes my songs skip a couple of minutes, sometimes it stutter here and there, and sometimes it lag for 15 seconds. Anyone else experience this and how to fix?
I get the same thing, but only occasionally. My gut feeling says it might be related to streaming in ‘Lossless’. Did you happen to do that as well? I’ve just switched back to ‘High quality’ streaming via wifi, and the stuttering seems to have gone.
Update to iOS 14.7, recently released.
P.S. after upgrading to iOS 14.7.1 the problem seems to have gone, I can now stream on my wifi in 'Lossless' again without stuttering :-)
I just ran the iOS 14.7.1 update today, and my music app just started stuttering nonstop, and lagging. Playing .mp3 in phone storage, thru earbuds with lightning adapter. Sounds like it's trying to automatically switch EQ settings or something like that. Makes the app unusable until it's fixed.
I'm ready to un-install 14.7.1 and hope they get it figured out quickly because I listen to music pretty much all day long.
I played around with the settings and after about a day, all of the stuttering that happened immediately after the new iOS update, seems to have subsided. All of the settings appear to be where I started the day with, so I'm thinking the system just needed to re-boot a few times.
