Is there any possibility to play Hi-Res Lossless music tracks from the current Apple TV 4K models ?

I see that the Apple TV 4K has set the limit of 24-bit/48KHz Lossless Music that it can output to the TV or any AV Receiver but on the other hand iPhone models that support Lossless playback are given a choice that it can use an External DAC to play files which are higher than 48Khz.

What is the bottleneck for Apple TV models ?

I have an Oppo UDP 203 player which takes HDMI in from the Apple TV’s HDMI out but because of the software limitation provided through Tv OS I am unable to use its full potential.
