Found some apps I forgot I downloaded and want to get rid of them. They’re in my App Library but not the Home Screen. The only option it gives me when I hold down is add to Home Screen or share. If I add to Home Screen to delete it says it can remove from Home Screen but it will stay in the library. No where in the library can I delete it. I shouldn’t have to go to iTunes to delete an app on my phone. Help. About to toss this out a window.

Looks like you are trying to delete apps not on your device's home screen. We can absolutely help! Try going to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > scroll down and select an app you want to remove > Delete.
