Touch ID Issue

I just bought a MacBook Pro M1 2020 a few days ago, and all of the sudden when I restart my computer, it doesn't ask for the Touch ID any more. In fact, doesn't work on apps, password refill, etc... Has anyone else come across this issue?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.5

M1 SoC SMC reset equivalent is— Shut down, close the lid 30 secs+ , reboot as normal

and if no resolve SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262 and reboot as normal to test.

If you still have the issue—
