Valid Download of Mac OS X 10.4.11

After much hesitation, two or so years ago I updated to OS Catalina. Then I learned that a critical app for me, Hyperstudio, would not run on Catalina. I contacted the company but they did not aa Catalina-compatible version of Hyperstudio. To date, no compatible version of Hyperstudio from them.

I can create a partition on my Mac (iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017) to host Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Mojave) to host the software. I have been all over the Apple website, buy every download of Mojave will not open on my computer. What can I do.

Thanks.

You may have to use another mac to download macOS Mojave as Catalina and Big Sur will not allow the download of older macOS's. You can try of course.

And macOS Mojave is 10.14.6.

Open Safari and click on this link,

How to get old versions of macOS – Apple Support

Go to the Download OS section and click on macOS Mojave.

This will redirect you to the App Store Mojave downloads page.

It should say Get or Download this will download the Install macOS Mojave.app

to your Applications folder.

If you are doing this on another mac you will then need to create a bootable USB flash drive

installer.
