Apple TV and MLB TV

Need some help from the Apple TV Community. I have used Apple TV to watch Major League BAseball games through the MLB app. A little more than a month ago, MLB would no longer broadcast on Apple TV. I can watch on iPad, but the service is not as robust. Because MLB works on iPad, I know the subscription is valid. I have tried repeatedly with MLB to rectify this problem. The problem is a message on MLB saying there is no connection on my Apple TV.

I did find out from MLB that MLB did upgrades to their MLB app and that it has affected some subscribers of Apple TV. MLB tells me to contact Apple as it may be a Settings issue or something else Apple could help fix.

Thank you for your help. I appreciate it!

Hello Mattiewolfhound,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're seeing a connection error when attempting to use the MLB app on your Apple TV, and we'll gladly help.

For a connection error, we suggest starting with each step here:

If your Apple TV can't connect to Wi-Fi

Making sure your Apple TV is connected and in range, restarting your Apple TV, router, and modem, and checking for a tvOS update can help.

We hope this information is useful. Kind regards.
