Why can't the Epson L5190 Series printer connect on my Mac Pro

Hi,
An Epson L5190 is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a printer supporting the driverless AirPrint technology. An AirPrint-enabled model is compatible with macOS, and does not require the installation of drivers if a printer and a computer are connected (by Ethernet or wirelessly) to the same network (Wi-Fi router).
Add a printer on Mac - Apple Support
Reset the Mac printing system to solve a problem - Apple Support
Software from the printer manufacturer may or may not add functionality. For a USB connection, check whether the operating system suggests a suitable driver (after resetting the printing system). If not, look for software, for example, at https://www.epson.eu/support?productID=22937&os=38#drivers . As indicated by K Shaffer, drivers offered may differ from region to region.

A question to Epson may help, if their site pages lapse..
Should be recent updates for driver software there.

Depending on your location, various differences in product support &
drivers from printer makers, can be realized. Some do not show at all.
[Models, made for certain regions, may only appear in results for them.]
A search brought up Epson page info for India, Philippines, & etc; the
model number was regional with Epson support drivers & articles.
