If you did not set up Apple Pay, and received suspicious phone calls and messages asking for personal information like a card number, we would advise you to be cautious since Apple would not call to request information like this. When setting up Apple Pay, your bank issuer verifies your card and information as part of the process. We would suggest contacting your bank directly to ensure these messages or calls were not coming from them.
