Trouble with accessing Google maps through Safari on my iPad

I can use Google Maps directly on my iPad but if I try to access it through a map on Safari I get redirected to my old government employee login. The trouble is I retired and no longer have one but also that I have never loaded a device management policy on this device. I always accessed my work email through the Safari browser. This would’ve made sense on my cell phone for which I did have to load a device management policy. I will try to include two screenshots. One is of the browser page are used most recently to reach a map unsuccessfully and the other is of where it takes me.
