Why iPhone 11 gets hot

Whenever I use my iPhone11 for more than 15-20 minutes it gets hot. Does that happen to anyone? Anyone has any advice?

There are many reasons for the iPhone to get warm, but not so hot that it shuts down. Charging the battery will generate heat in the case. Playing a graphic intensive game will generate heat, watching a video will generate heat, talking on the phone with a weak cellular signal will generate heat, FaceTime will generate heat.

Are you doing any of these things when this happens? Do you see a screen that says that the iPhone is too hot and shuts down?
