The second to last update forced me to start using a passcode on my Apple Watch, it’s a pain at work. I don’t want a passcode, yet it won’t allow me to not have one. I’ve turned off all the pay features on the watch, but still will not let me shut the passcode feature off. Help!

You can unlock the watch automatically when you unlock your iPhone.\:

I don’t always have my phone at work, that’s the problem. I don’t want to have my phone in my hand to unlock my watch. I want my watch to just be unlocked.
Obviously I’ve tried those steps already. It doesn’t allow me to select turn passcode off.

If the Turn Passcode Off button is greyed out, passcode restrictions are likely enforced on the iPhone (via a corporate configuration profile, mobile device management or Exchange policy).
Where passcode restrictions are set on a managed iPhone, they also affect Apple Watch. In such cases, it will not therefore be possible to turn off the watch's passcode.
