MacPro 2019 + DELL U4021QW – display flickers

Mac Pro 2019, newest OS, newest CC versions.

Since a few days (now with DELL U4021QW + 2 LG 24MP88HV), before with (LG_38 UC99 + 2 LG 24MP88HV) the Dell flickers, esp. when using InDesign.

Also some strange photoshop behavior.

Has someone pleeease an explanation for me…

Wow, looks like your last tip solved the problems.

DELL U4021QW – was connected on top via Thunderbolt

LG 24MP88HV 1 – connected via Thunderbolt (Mac on back) to HDMI (LG)

LG 24MP88HV 2 – connected via HDMI (Mac–LG)

version A

DELL U4021QW – connected on back via Thunderbolt

LG 24MP88HV 1 – connected via Thunderbolt (Mac back) to HDMI (LG) – wasn’t shown in system at all

LG 24MP88HV 2 – connected via HDMI (Mac–LG)

version B

DELL U4021QW – connected on back via Thunderbolt

LG 24MP88HV 1 – connected via Thunderbolt (Mac top) to HDMI (LG)

LG 24MP88HV 2 – connected via HDMI (Mac–LG)

WORKS no flicker at all at the moment.

Does this mean that the different Thunderbolt ports do have different specifications?!

I never read anything like that… or has the AMD Radeon Pro 580X graphics card a defect?

But first:

A BIG thank you for your tip
