Mac Pro 2019, newest OS, newest CC versions.
Since a few days (now with DELL U4021QW + 2 LG 24MP88HV), before with (LG_38 UC99 + 2 LG 24MP88HV) the Dell flickers, esp. when using InDesign.
Also some strange photoshop behavior.
Has someone pleeease an explanation for me…

The classic way to rule out software is to run in Safe Mode, which loads NO third-party extensions.
Works in Safe mode, fails in regular mode implies "It's something you added."
Sometimes when two large displays are using the same thunderbolt controller (typically adjacent ports), one comes up short and gets messed up. If you can spread the load out, sometimes just a little bit, the problem can go away.

WORKS no flicker at all at the moment.
Does this mean that the different Thunderbolt ports do have different specifications?!
I never read anything like that… or has the AMD Radeon Pro 580X graphics card a defect?

To "mix up" the hardware situation, try plugging that ThunderBolt cable into a different port on the Mac, including the TOP ports if possible.
those videos seem to be showing problems with fetching the correct information for the display -- as if there were some sort of addressing issue.
Have you run the diagnostic? It might detect gross problems.
Exactly what cables, adapters and docks are in the cabling to the display. Mention EVERY device/cable.
In your second video, I am not seeing what the problem is -- could you elaborate?

I did run diagnostics, no problems detected.
Killed all preferences for InDesign + Photoshop. Went well for 2 h.
Flickers in ID just started again, an strange file display in PS. Here are 2 screeners:
The display is connected only with the Apple Thunderbolt 3 MWP32ZM/A – 2 meters cable to the MacPro.
Only one and the same file is open.
But you see different images.
First the »real« image, that changes when zooming in.
And changes again, when zooming out.
I never ever had this. Working with it since middle of the 90s…
