iPad auto lock not activating

I have auto lock set to 10 min. But iPad does not go to sleep. It is killing my battery.

Is this a support issue? Is it an app conflict issue? How do I fix this?

Note: I use Accessibility - classic invert colors and Zoom with controller.

Check if you have restrictions enabled on your Screen Time.

Specifically, Settings>ScreenTime>Content&Privacy Restrictions>Allow Changes>... the first 3 options must be set to "allow".

When done restart your device.

Did you try to use (temprarily) a different autolock time? What happens when you try?

Last attempt: try a "forced" restart of your iPad:

On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top (power) button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top (power) button. Only when the Apple logo appears (it might take 20-40 seconds), release that button (ignore all other screens that might appear).
