Braided Solo Loop Band Stretches Out With Time

So I contacted Apple today regarding my band that has stretched out which makes the watch ineffective at measuring heart rate, pulse ox, etc. I have AppleCare+ on the Series 6 Watch. Apple transferred me to 4 different people and I finally got to the last guy who said, sorry, you only have 14-days and AppleCare doesn't cover the band or any accessory. If a band fails which makes the watch useless, shouldn't AppleCare+ cover this? There are many customers with the same problem. Apple has certainly shifted from a customer & product focus to a revenue focus (and customers be ******). We'll see how long that works for them I guess. I used to love this company.
