Sports Push Notifications not appearing on iPhone

Recently, the AppleTV app on iPhone has decided to stop sending me push notifications for any and all sports events. This includes game starts. No changes had been made on my end in regards to adjusting notification settings: everything is still set to allow notifications. All related sports apps (MLB, NBA, etc) are installed on my phone.

The only thing that had changed recently was that I had signed up for AppleTV+ right before the issue occured. I was receiving notifications before I subscribed, and have been having issues getting alerts since subscribed. Not sure if there is a correlation, but I figured it was worth mentioning.

Is there anything impeding me from receiving notifications? Is there an easy way to get them back?

Hello borybory,

We're glad you thought to ask Apple Support Communities about the issue you're having with receiving your sports notifications. Notifications depend on a network connection. Have you noticed this happens more when using cellular data only, a Wi-Fi network, or both? Also, is this only happening with one specific app, or many? Complete the following steps, testing after each one, to see if the issue resolves:

Keep us posted on the results.

Take care.
