Where are my music files stored

I am trying to make a ring tone in garage band and I need the music files to do that. Where are they. They are purchased music.

The easiest way is to download an app for the iPhone that searches your music library and does that for you. Search the App Store for something like "Ringtone Converter".

I get the GarageBank for making a ringtone. But here’s the deal where are the mp3 and mp4 files kept so I can get it to GarageBand. They are not in my files folders. Where are they and what can Ringtone converter do if I can’t find the music files. The music is in my ITunes but were are the files??????
