Question

My Iphone XR want shutdown. I hold the buttons the screen goes black then it comes back up and still want work phone rings screen is black and want answer.

I need to shutdown my phone and restart it. It want work. I notice the battery light is yellow and not green.

I hold the buttons on the left and right side and it still want shutoff.

Make sure to unlock your iPhone and it will then allow you to switch it off by holding the volume up button at the same time as the sleep/wake button - a menu will appear prompting you to slide to switch off.

With regards to the battery icon it is that colour as your iPhone has switched to power saving mode as the battery is running low.
