Well, to rid of it, you could always hide the item -but that would make this item be inaccessible until you download it from the iTunes Store, or just unhide it. You cannot get rid of it. It’s there for a specific reason, as explained already in the previous post. Since you cannot edit your purchase history, all your purchased apps will show with the cloud and arrow symbol. Unpurchased items show “get”.

The little cloud with an arrow on an App in the App Store means that you have already purchased that App and can download it again if desired. Why would you want to get rid of it?
