I am trying to reset my PW in Music on my Macbook Pro but I keep getting an error that my PW is not secure and I know my PW meets the minimum requirements as stated in the reset box.

We understand that you're unable to reset your password with Apple Music. If your new password meets all requirements, force close the window and try resetting the password again. If this continues, you can enter safe mode to make this change.
Safe mode prevents certain software from running while a check on the startup disk is performed. See the guidance in the link How to use safe mode on your Mac.
