Help signing in to Apple music

Hello I just got my new phone and I am trying to login to my Apple Music, my Apple Music account uses my old Gmail which is while my phone uses which is my new Gmail for my Apple account. I can’t seem to log into my old Apple ID for my music every time I try it says error, I type in my password correct and I asked to send a verification code and it works whenever I type in the verification code but it will not allow me to create a new password so I can log into my old email for my Apple Music
