Applecare+ purchase at Costco

A lot of my friends ask me about how to register their Apple Care+ warranty purchased at Costco.

The issue is that the Costco employees may not know that after you receive your item at the jewelry/lockup area - they are supposed to immediately take you to a corporate iPad Kiosk and register your warranty with Apple. This involves you logging on to their kisok with your apple id. They then enter the serial number and part number and it adds the apple care to your Apple account. If they didn't do this - you should go back to Costco with your device box and receipt and speak to a customer care representative. There might be a way for you to register after the fact, but it will involve you providing your receipt and serial number to Apple support. It's important that you take care of this as soon as possible.
