Intercom on HomePod mini constantly not working

So when I’m out the house at work and want to intercom home, recently it just keeps saying “my home isn’t available right now”

the first couple days intercom seemed to working fine but for about a week now this problem keeps happening

also when I come home and long press on the HomePod mini in the hole app it keeps showing that it’s playing some “Space meditation” from some radio station via TuneIn app. I DONT HAVE TUNEIN app on my iPhone! So no idea how this is happening. It’s really annoying because sometimes if I click on the HomePod mini tile in hone app when I’m out, it plays the **** meditation music and it really annoys people at home.

please help! How do I get intercom working again and how do I stop the HomePod mini from thinking I constantly want this random radio station playing all the time.

To begin, we would want to make sure that your iPhone you are using as well as the HomePod Mini are both up to date with their software versions. Take a look at the steps listed in the resources below that go over updating:

Update HomePod

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Once you have updated the devices, try using it as an intercom again to see if the issue persists:

Use HomePod as an intercom

Also, is your iPhone the only one connected to use the HomePod? Or are there other devices that are able to use and control the HomePod as well?
