Whenever I try to download an app from the App Store it lets me use my Face ID then it just goes back to the get button

The App Store is apparently down. Hopefully for not long.

Changing the region is not necessarily going to help you download if there is a problem with you downloading. If you wish to change, see this, Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support Understand you need to be physically located in the new region, you must have a billing address in the new region and a credit card issued by a bank in the new region before you change. No subscriptions and no billing issues.
