How to connect MacBook and Mac Mini

Hi, I am trying to connect my mini Mac and MacBook for work. I’m not sure how to connect my MacBook screen with the mini Mac. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

you can't use the macbooks screen for the mac mini apart from if you use remote desktop or the likes, in which case you would still need another monitor for the mac mini
