Final Cut Pro X not updating

Final Cut Pro X is not updating via Software Update on my iMac. The version is 10.4.10 (9/23/2020). I thought it could be the OS, so I upgraded to Big Sur 11.5.1, but Final Cut Pro X is not updating to the current release (10.5.4).

What do I need to do in order to get FCP X to update?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.14

Updates are available through the App Store not Software Update. Make sure you’re logged into the store with the Apple ID used to purchase it.
