Buy an AppleCare plan [was: Can I buy an AppleCare plan for my device?] Click here --> https://support.apple.com/HT202702

"In most countries and regions, you can buy AppleCare+ within 60 days of your device purchase. In Japan, you can buy AppleCare+ within 30 days of your device purchase. In some countries and regions, you can buy an AppleCare Protection Plan within 1 year of your purchase of an eligible Mac, Apple TV, or other device."


If you buy them from Apple or an Apple Authorized Retailer, the date of sale is registered as the date of sale to you. If you buy them through a third party the date of sale is when the third party bought them from Apple.
