My photos' locations have all disappeared

I opened my photos app to find that all the locations had disappeared, I never changed my settings or anything and what's weirder is that a photo I took on my Fujifilm camera that I uploaded didn't have geolocation but one I did later in the day did. This is extremely frustrating because I like using the map function a lot and I could never put all of the locations back in manually :(

Which system version is running on your iPhone? Did you just install a software update? Then the locations may temporarily vanish, while Photos is scanning the locations again. Is your iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, so it can reach Apple's location database server? If not, connect the iPhone to Power and the internet, so Photos can scan the photos again.

How are you copying the photos from your Fujifilm camera to the iPhone? And what is the file format? Are you shooting RAW or JPEG?

Does the Fujifilm camera have a built-in GPS? It is normal, that not all photos taken with a camera will have locations assigned. Sometimes high buildings around a location are preventing the GPS receiver from seeing the satellites and then the photos will not have any GPS.

On an iPhone the locations may vanish temporarily, if a system update is causing a new scan for locations. Are you seeing at least a places pin on the map below the photo, when you swipe up on a photo to see the details below the photo?
