Put on a movie then enabled guided acces. Phone is frozen on guided access. A forced restart is not an option for any options provided. Can’t pull the info needed for tech support. What do I do?

Hi there Chevybeauty,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

It looks like you're having an issue with exiting Guided Access.

To turn off Guided Access on your iPhone 6s Plus, triple-click the Home button, enter your Guided Access passcode, and then tap "End". If you chose to use Touch ID for Guided Access, double-click the Home button.

For a bit more information about Guided Access, check out the article here: Use Guided Access with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Thanks for your post!

Take care!

Hi Chevybeauty,

Were you able to test out the double-click option with the Home button, in case you had set it up to use Touch ID?

After double-clicking the Home button, lay your finger down on the Home button, without clicking, in order to scan your fingerprint.

If that still doesn't help, and you're unable to force restart the iPhone, you may need to wait until the iPhone's battery completely depletes so that the Guided Access session completely ends. You may try force restarting once more from the article you were previously viewing: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

If you use iCloud and have a current backup, you can erase your iPhone and restore from a backup. Click here for those steps: Restore or set up your device from an iCloud backup - Apple Support

Have a great day!

Cheers!

thank you rose_10 for responding. I had already triple clicked the home button. I also held the home button and the on off button for 15 seconds for a hard reset. I also pressed and held the volume buttons and clicked the on off button 15 times or more and the phone is still frozen in place. When trying to get out of guided access, it provides the triple click option but then doesn’t work. Due to the frozen phone I am not able to pull the serial number or anything that Apple support needs in order to provide assistance. I have exhausted all of the current options. Is there anything else that can be provided as the phone will only unfreeze if the movie itself has completed through the end credits. That is the only time the passcode option pops up to turn off guided access otherwise I can’t get out of guided access. Any other suggestions would be nice as well.
