I keep getting storage full messages on my IPad even though I’ve done all the updates, purged all but this year’s photos and any unused apps. It still hasn’t changed the amount of storage. What do I do?

I’m having the same problem but with my iPhone 11 Pro, iOS version 14.6. I’ve tried deleting stuff and I’ve completely shut down and rebooted my phone! I need my storage! Over 80 GB is being used on “other.”
Are you getting a message saying that the phone storage is full or that Cloud storage is full? Have you tried rebooting your iPad?
This is for my IPad not Cloud. Under setting it says IPad storage
