iPad 11 pro 2021 with M1 chip - Stuck with black screen
It has been almost a month since I bought this iPad 11 pro
(2021 with M1 chip - Model no:A2459).
This morning while I was using the Facebook app it got stuck with a black screen. In a little while the backlight too turned off. Even though the display was black I knew the device was running since it was warm. After several attempts I managed to force restart it and then the device seemed to be ok. The battery level was at 28% at that time so I charged it until it got 80%. Then I was scheduling my online meetings for the day using Zoom app and suddenly it got stuck again. No matter how many times I tried I couldn’t force restart it again.
This was my first apple device and I came from Windows and Android devices which helped me in my online teaching for more than 5 years. With the Covid pandemic, demand for online teaching went high so I wanted a better device to keep my workflow smoothly and continuously. I bought this device with new M1 chip having lots of plans in my mind but now I’m stuck with this problem.
I’m really really frustrated now because I spent a lot of money on the device and in other hand I don’t know how I can manage my workflow in the coming days. Even today I had to cancel online classes with more than 500 students.
I used the device in proper manner. There isn’t a single scratch on it and looks almost new. I need to know if I can get a replacement or refund from apple. Is there a way to contact Apple online and discuss the matter?
