voice memos start recording sound

id like to help all battered women (& men) to SAFLEY use the iphone app titled Voice Memos.

currently it seems very unsafe because unfortunately, when you press the round red button to start a recording, it makes a loud sound.

this sound will notify anyone within "ear shot" of the phone that a recording has begun or a cell phone is within listening distance...a MAJOR flaw for anyone who needs to silently press the record button to capture an abusive dialogue.

does anyone know if this can be fixed?
