Ipad Pro not charging

Ok, just for my understanding: the iPad is off, you plug in the charger and the Apple Logo shows and then disappears again? If I have that right then I would try a different cable and charger first. If that doesn't help then I would suggest making a Genius Bar appointment to have Apple run diagnostics on the device as it may be a defective battery.

Does the Apple logo stay on and flash every so often? Or does it turn back off completely?
