Getting unknown error -1007 for some songs when downloading

Hello,


I've opted for Lossless on my iPhone and iPad and would now do the same exercise on my iMac. I understand I need to delete already downloaded files to enjoy the better quality, but after erasing an album in the library on my iMac, I receive "unknown error -1007" for one or two songs on the album I have tried. Never had an issue with this on my iPhone or my iPad.


Anyone knows the reason for this?

Hello LarsScania,


Go ahead and try to restart your Mac and uncheck "reopen windows when logging back in". Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac


If a restart doesn't resolve the issue, make sure that your Mac is up to date with the latest version of macOS: Update macOS on Mac


If the issue continues updating macOS, test for the issue in safe mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac


If the issue continues, Contact Official Apple Support

Hi,

I have had this problem.. Have you tried playing them on your computer? I believe the lossless versions are faulty - the tracks only play for 14 seconds then either stops or provides screeching noise. I have deleted tracks and tried to rematch with mixed response - some matched as AAC, some matched with lossless version and others uploaded despite being previously matched.


I am continuing to come across more faulty tracks but the rematching is painfully slow in view of current issues which are being discussed elsewhere on this forum.
