MacBook unable to verify email account name or password

Why is my MacBook no longer able to verify an email account that I have been using for years. I can see the emails on my phone and iPad but not my MacBook.

My husband and mother are not able to get their emails on their iPads. Can you help me so I can help them?

If Mail on your Mac can’t connect to your email account

If iCloud Mail isn't working
