I can send calendar invitations but am not receiving calendar invitations. iCould, desktop and phone all share the same issue (syncing is working). I have rebooted and relogged into account but still not receiving.

Since the calendar invites are still not being received, we'd recommend that you contact Apple Support directly through Contact Apple Support for further troubleshooting to resolve this issue.

Are you only using your iCloud calendars or do you have others listed also?

The sender must have correct contact details of your like email address , trusted number in their device iPhone / Mac .
If devices are synced ( signed in with same Apple ID and password on the same network , the calendars are shared automatically ) Sync contacts and calendars between your Mac and iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Are these invitations coming from one person or multiple? Yes. Multiple sources are not coming through. Some are iCloud sources and some are Outlook sources.
Are you only using your iCloud calendars or do you have others listed also? I am only using iCloud calendars now.

my iCloud email address has not changed. I logged out and back into each device (iMac, iCloud, iPhone) and nothing changed. All devices are synced.
I reset my iPhone but the problem persists. I should have known that this would not work as I am not receiving calendar appointments on my desktop or in iCloud. The problem is not with the iPhone.
Take back up of iPhone and Mac , erase the iPhone and Mac , reinstall the os .
