Entre Check , full disk access and an sshd file. I’m having issues with my Mac. I reset and I have called support and get different answers. There is a file for Entre Checkfull disk access with sshd- ****-***

I’m getting different results on resets (same version soft ware) within days. I have called support getting different answers. Regarding at least two things.

Entre check gave much different information than Malwarebyes and was bizarre. I uninstalled reset called ISP as told. My iCloud then listed multiple versions of my devices like “ clones or copies”

Then there is and sshd-****-***** that I write down but can’t find. It shows up sometimes not others during resets. One support rep told me to erase.

I contacted ISP. new equipment. Three resets Malwarebyes says trampoline. Their support says old version of Malwarebytes. Bit I just downloaded.

if anyone knows how to use Entre Check here with some experience and patience as I am not tech savvy but persistent and smart enough to know something isn’t quite right I much need help.

I get disconnected when talking to senior advisors after a while of troubleshooting and miss return calls with no reasonable way to contact with unreliable cell and landline phones.

much obliged thank you .

yes that us indeed my printer I did not understand why it showed up as my network on computer and also listed as a PC (in place of blue green globe as always) and yes you are correct about flash usb etc. Thank you

I have spoken with apple support senior advisor in past and more than once regarding possible "unwanted remote access" and I did not like sound of that so I need to learn a lot. I have heard "what did you plug it into?"

Any significance to flash drive being "plugged in"

Awesome call thanks!

PS multiple issues trying to find source. I need to chill in general but I am very curious

I reset. I had installed Malwarebytes and would be offline and it did a sort of "fake" update. I am supposed to phone them. I spend hours on the phone troubleshooting. I have had things leading me to believe security issues. I am sorry took so long because I am going through ****. I am also sorry to barrage you I am just concerned. Below is what my computer showed while my printer was hardwired to router updating. Disturbing enough but I have no PC or should have no PC associated with my account.. I am not using a VM. it should up in Entre Check. If I can remove I wouldn't mind at all. I had once used Fusion Virtual Machine with Windows XP in perhaps 2007.While I updated my printer hardwired and this is what showed in Network.

I can't understand. I am beyond boring. Today my iPhone showed as connected to my network through my ISP app and below it was the name of someone else's router. I have a litany of security issues to techs seemed strapped as to what info they can give my be a legal reason. I know it is not a legal "hack" for any reason because I had major interference with calls from doctors and nurses while caretaking a stroke victim. Good guys do not do that.

Remote access, spyware all implied once told firmware erasing virus. Bizarre.

I was told by ISP only way this could happen is a coaxial adapter plugged in somewhere. One was once found it attic. Never had Dish etc. Feel like an idiot.

( the letters and numbers correspond to a router bad enough however it isn't even MY router model.

normally looks like this and this where device is listed with corresponding symbol indicated device type.

PS this is my fourth router in 60 days .

It was listed under Virtual Interfaces? I was trying to be "networking" but only hardwired with sharing disabled.

VIRTURAL interface settings had thunderbolt bridge whatever that means? When removed was informed all devices using this will be removed. Wasn't even using another devices on Network.

Had continuity issues. My fifth router. Cell, Landline, other routers showing on my devices. My devices are technically "offline" but will be working. Even I was online and my router was blinking red. So I am like a hotspot or something.

ISP fix IPS cell fix cell etc. Something it setting off these routers. I have not found.

I was told to" something must be plugged in and to google" and I went down a rabbit hole. So I apparently no longer good at research....lol

EtreCheck is not a malware checker. EtreCheck does find possible Adware, but that is not the only thing it does. It will list everything you have installed. So, you will definitely see different results from EtreCheck than MBAM's report which would only include what it thinks is malware.

Best thing you can do is run EtreCheck, click the Share Report button and choose Copy Report.

Then, in a reply here, click on the Document icon (Additional Text) and paste the report.

While Etresoft put a lot of effort into making the report easy to understand, it was always designed as a tool for you to post the report here and get advice from people more familiar with the results.

You don't have a problem. You just don't understand how wireless - especially - networking works.

That’s PC icon mean that your network has found a PC nearby (and nearby could be three houses away) that is available for networking. You can't access it, it can't access you, but it's somewhere in the vicinity should you and the owner of that wish to network.

Stop resetting your machine. Just chill and get on with your life.

Below is what my computer showed while my printer was hardwired to router updating. Disturbing enough but I have no PC or should have no PC associated with my account

That may be your printer. Does it have a card reader or USB port that you can insert a flash memory stick into to print?

If you know how to find the MAC address of your printer, you may find that the last three pairs of numbers match what you see in that screenshot of the “PC.”
