If I bought my AirPods an Amazon, can I get them fixed in the Apple Store?

Based on what’s posted around here…

If the seller was Apple or an Apple authorized distributer, yes.

If not, the warranty might start when the entity you purchased from had acquired the product from their supplier, and not when you purchased the product from them.

I’ve seen sketchy “Apple” gear available offered from various online providers, and would prefer to purchase only from Apple or Apple authorized resellers. If the purchase goes sideways somehow, will there be somebody to return for a refund?

Specifically on Amazon, the Apple Store is Apple, AFAIK, and with the Apple warranty. Other Amazon sellers might or might not be authorized resellers.
