Unable to complete Data Transfer on IPhone 12

Hi there

Why won’t the data transfer complete? There is more than sufficient storage capacity!

Just want to do the usual transfer from old phone to new phone!

Help please.

TIA

Here are different methods to transfer data Transfer data from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad or iPod touch – Apple Support

Ok so there are multiple ways to transfer the data what I’m explaining is a backup.

  • An iCloud backup

Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup.

Turn on iCloud Backup.

To perform a manual backup, tap Back Up Now.

  • Backup to a mac

Connect your iPhone to your Mac with a cable

In the Finder sidebar on your Mac, select your iPhone.

At the top of the Finder window, click General.

Select “Back up all of the data on your iPhone to this Mac.”

To encrypt your backup data and protect it with a password, select “Encrypt local backup.”

Click Back Up Now.
