how to get past update to pair to my phone

i somehow got logged or paired out of my apple watch trying to update it and now i need to re pair it with my phone. when i get to the update screen on my phone for the watch it says i’m not connected to internet when i am connected to wifi. what do i do?

apple watch update, wifi and pairing issue My apple watch is due for an update and it currently isn’t paired with my iphone. I went to pair them so it could update but it says my apple watch isn’t connected to wifi, but my phone is. I cant do anything on my apple watch or on the app to connect the watch to wifi. I’m not sure what to do now.
