Why didn't my downloaded CDs transfer to my new ipod touch.?

It's difficult to say without more information from you.

• Do the new songs play in your iTunes Library?
• Have you previously added music from your CDs to this iPod, using the iTunes and computer that you're using now?
• How do you usually add music to your iPod, is it by:

1. 1. Sync (entire Library)
   2. Sync selected playlists, artists, albums and genres, or
   3. Manually Manage?

If you use option 2 above (sync selected playlists, artists, albums and genres), have you added the new songs to your selection?
