Cant delete Mails Drafts on iPadOS 14.7.1

Are these iCloud email drafts or through a third-party provider?

If you select/tap on the draft at the bottom of the Mail app to open it again, are you able to select 'Cancel' on the top right and then Delete Draft?

That should allow you to clear it.

In case it doesn't, have you tried reinstalling the Mail app? You could remove the app by tapping and holding on the icon until the pop up appears, select 'Delete App' (not only from the Home Screen, but altogether), then redownload it from the App Store.

Note: This step will also delete its data, but any documents or data stored in iCloud will not be deleted.
