I suspect that the .bzp format is created by the The CCH® ProSystem fx® Suite, as a binder backup package for these accounting tools. Likely one of these file formats that nothing on earth can handle other than the proprietary software that created it. Very likely not a Mac software package, or openable on the Mac. Very likely no inquiry support unless you are an existing (read paying) customer.

There is useful information on that page. It shows bzp is a compression format that functions like the much more common .zip file. Double-clicking a zip file on macOS opens it. Maybe bzp works on Mac so no software is needed.
That page also has links to the developer's information page:
⚠️ If you are reluctant to to open it, ask the sender to provide the information in the more traditional zip format. Or, if you do not know the sender, delete the file with extreme prejudice.
