The character position is not valid or not in the right place

Hey all,

I’ve bought a Macbook to study as a first-year student, and you know Microsoft Word is extremely essential with my learning process. However, when I check Word, whichever characters I press it all shows the notification “The character position is not valid or not in the right place”. How can I deal with this annoying problem ? Thanks all in advance.
