How do I easily select "Play" and "Pause" on Apple Music for my Samsung TV?

I am unable to simply hit one button on my remote to pause music on my Samsung TV when using Apple Music.

When music is playing and I see the album cover on the TV screen, then I cannot simply use the "play/pause" button my remote. I have to use the "back" button so I can see all the album covers next to each other, then I need to go down to the "track line" (which indicates how far along the song is in h:mm:ss) - then once I am on the row I can use press "Pause".

is there a way to make it work like an apple app should work - intuitive. E.g. use the play/pause button on your remote any time and anywhere, no matter what the app is showing on the screen?

It is utterly frustrating not do perform such a super duper simple task.
